A good agate relief carved snuff bottle, subtly carved in low relief against the honey coloured ground, with a pair of dappled horses, one above the other; the animal at the top is shown biting on one of her hind legs, while her companion licks a forehoof. The well-hollowed bottle is of rounded square shouldered form, and stands on a neatly carved foot rim.
