A fine quality English Regency period mahogany music stand with a possible maker’s signature attached to the base of the drawer lining. The elegant tapering and fluted central stem terminates in three sweeping fluted cabriole legs.

Height: 30 ½ in (77.5 cm)
Width of top: 19 ½ in (49.5 cm)
Depth of top: 16 ½ in (42 cm)

* There was a cabinetmaker by the name of Ward working in the village of Merton in North Devon which corresponds with the signature noted above.
