Pair of French 'Philosophy and Learning' gilt and black bronze table lamps:
in the form of antique oil lamps with youth and maiden symbolising Philosophy and Study; with dark green veined marble base. After Simon-Louis Boizot, Paris 1790, 'Vergoldete Bronzen' p294. These made circa 1870.
