A Fine Pair of Cassolettes
In the Louis XVIth Manner

Constructed in Carrara marble, with gilt bronze framework and accents, in the form of an Athenienne; the incurved tripartite marble base supporting the tripod legs, with cloven hoof feet, conjoined with circular braces and terminating in Goat Heads, which enclose the baluster form urns, themselves adorned with foliate swags, the turned and stepped conical tops terminating in berried fruits, with drapes of stiff leaf bronze mounts.
