Description
A fine 19th century Mahogany banjo barometer with 12 inch silvered dial indicating the states of the weather from 28 to 31 inches and with elaborate foliate engraving to the centre and beautifully pierced elegant pointers.

The swan neck top terminating in turned bone paterae and a central bronze finial. The body of typical form with tulipwood cross banding to the edge with subsidiary hygrometer over thermometer.

The levelling dial to the bottom with maker’s signature above a spirit level indicator.
