A Fine Library Desk

Free standing, and of elegant and petite design, being constructed in San Domingo mahogany; rising from a plinth base, with pedestals, radiused and reeded at the angles, having fielded panels dressed with paterae, which house fielded panel lockable drawers, four to the right pedestal, and three to the left, and with three larger drawers in the frieze; a 'modesty' panel, carved with neo-classical attributes is fitted to the reverse; being fitted with a leather writing surface.
