Description
Eighteenth Century multi-branch cut glass Sweetmeat Epergne:
the tall faceted 'sweetmeat pole' with lozenge-shaped finial and domed flared base; the two tiers of sinuous branches bearing variously shaped dishes and baskets to hold nuts, jellies, crystallised fruit and other sweets on the dessert table. English, circa 1770-80, restored.
