Description
The rosewood frame inlaid with meandering flowering stems in mother of pearl, with caned back and seat.

This is a Chinese, almost geometric interpretation of an early Georgian chair, with its central back support, rounded shoulders, crested back and cabriole legs. The curves of the Georgian model are straightened and the feet are interpreted as bracket feet.
