Description
The eight-lobed form moulded in high relief with spiralling trails of flowers in the characteristically brilliant glassy white paste of the Triangle period.

This pattern, unique to Chelsea, is presumably a creation of the silversmith Nicholas Sprimont and is reminiscent of patterns found on repoussé silver. The name tea-plant is a modern invention.
