A charming 19th century miniature carriage clock of Swiss/French origins. It is an exquisite example of small proportions, a quarter repeating carriage clock timepiece. The clock has a fully engraved case with a solid rear door and carrying handle. The clock is signed below the enamel dial Gustave Butet. The Continental movement is quarter repeating on two gongs of day duration.
