A rare Georgian fruitwood treen tea caddy modelled in the form of a pear; the pear's carved stalk can be used to open the lid which opens to reveal some of the original foil lining; having a steel escutcheon and a good colour.

Fruit tea caddies are amazing examples of Georgian treen and they can also be found shaped as a melon and an apple.
