24.6cm x 17.6cm

Painted in a rich palate with paterae surrounded by laurel and olive wreaths with pendant swags against a gilt trellis on a blue ground. The border with alternating blue and pink harebells.

Frieze riche borders are characteristic of the period 1766-1768.

Restoration to two sections of the rim, wear to enamels restored. Hi resolution photographs available from before conservation.
