transluscent and opaque champlevé enamelled decoration of lotus flowers and irises on a floral stem, set with shields of the four nations of Britain.

The underside with a citrine crest impaling Ponsonby, possibly that of Sir Henry Ponsonby (1825–1895), Private Secretary to Queen Victoria.
